ti <br />Petition: District 1 <br />To Mayor and City Council, citizens of the Lomax area who <br />live on acreage and own livestock, bought in this area so we could <br />live a rural life style. We would like to thank the Mayor and City <br />Council for safeguarding our desires and protecting our rights to <br />live in the manner we enjoy. We would like the Mayor and City <br />Council to continue protecting the desires of the citizens of La <br />Porte and thank you for your service to the City. Please do not let <br />the complaints of a few change things for the majority. <br />In the Lomax area we also have open ditches. These ditches <br />need to be maintained to prevent, flooding. We encourage the <br />Mayor, City Council and the City to dig qut these ditches and set <br />up a routine maintenance schedule. We know Harris County is <br />responsible for a lot of the drainage ditches in our area and <br />appreciate the City working with the County to upgrade and <br />maintain this drainage system. <br />Thank you, Mayor and City Council for your time and your <br />consideration in this matter. <br />C5 71f, 441� <br />
