<br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Norman Malone at 6:00 p.m.

<br />A. Mayor Malone presented Chamber of Commerce President Colleen Hicks with a proclamation to honor
<br />2003 Texas Chamber of Commerce Week.
<br />B. Mayor Malone presented First Lady Ann Malone with a proclamation in honor of National Breast Cancer
<br />Awareness Month.
<br />C. Mayor Malone presented La Porte High School students Michael Crislip, Christie Cooksley and Robin
<br />Compton with a proclamation in honor of Orange and White Week.
<br />D. Mayor Malone presented Director of Parks and Recreation Stephen Barr with a proclamation in honor of
<br />Education Foundation Celebration Day.
<br />E. Mayor Malone presented Fire Chief Mike Boaze, Assistant Fire Chief Champ Dunham and Fire Marshal
<br />Paul Hickenbottom with a proclamation in honor of Fire Prevention Week.
