With that, my tenure as Mayor Pro-Tem will end in May. I have proposed to place, for discussion, the Mayor Pro-Tem position on the next council meeting on the 10th. We need to discuss the situation so that on the May 24th meeting, we can move forward to electing a new Mayor Pro-Tem for the coming year, like we do every year. We could wait until after the run-off, special election, and so forth, but that is what we will be discussing at the meeting. In addition, with the campaign, there are a lot of "ifs" in place. So please have your thoughts and considerations ready. Thanks for all you have done in helping the city out during this difficult time. The city's strength will shine as bright as we do as the leaders of our community. Peter 1
