' <br />:cc =_-~.~~~~~{: '~ ' <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION <br />ADOPTING mE REPORT OF mE <br />20041ML LEGISLATIVE POLICY COMMITTEE <br />ON MUNICIPAL REVENUE AND TAXATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the 2004 TML Legislative Policy Committee on Municipal Revenue and Taxation <br />was appointed by TML President Teriy Henley in early 2004; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, more than 30 municipal officials from cities of every size across the state served on <br />the committee; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the committee studied numerous issues relating to revenue and taxation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the committee has completed its work and has drafted the attached report; <br /> <br />NOW, mEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the delegates assembled at this 2004 Annual <br />Conference of the Texas Municipal League that the attached report of the TML Legislative <br />Policy Committee on Municipal Revenue and Taxation be accepted and adopted. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED by the membership of the Texas Municipal League this 29th day of <br />October, 2004, at Corpus Christi, Texas. <br /> <br />APPROVED: <br /> <br />Teny Henley <br />President <br /> <br />AlTEST: <br /> <br />Frank Sturzl <br />Executive Director <br /> <br />. . . . ~; . . <br /> <br />" -- ,.~. ~ <br />...:.....
