E. <br />Aviation, Inc. on January 26, 1998. The First Amendment, adding three T-hanger sites, was <br />approved on February 1, 2002. <br /> <br />D. E. Aviation has proposed to lease a paved area (formerly Cliff Hyde Flying Service hanger <br />site) for use as a self-fueling site for aircraft. The site, composed of 16,800 square feet of <br />concrete paving, is unsuitable for hangers due to height restrictions. The proposed use will be <br />below the height restrictions for this area, and is well suited for this activity. <br /> <br />The proposed lease rate for the site is $3,360.00 per year, or $0.20 per square foot per year. The <br />lease rate is subject annually to the Consumer Price Index for all Urban Consumers, with 2001 as <br />the base year. Rental ofthe site will commence on February 1,2007. Lease term is for ten (10) <br />years, to run concurrently with the existing lease. <br /> <br />D. E. Aviation has tendered $500.00 for the lease preparation fee. Rental will be billed monthly, <br />and will begin as outlined in the Agreement. <br /> <br />Action Required bv Council: Approve an ordinance authorizing the City Manager to execute <br />the Second Amendment to Agreement and Lease between the City of La Porte and D.
