ASSURANCES <br /> <br />The COUNTY assures that no person shall, on the grounds of race, creed, color, <br />handicap, national origin, gender, political affiliation or beliefs, be excluded from, be <br />denied benefit of, or be subject to discrimination under any program or activity funded <br />in whole or in part under this agreement Incorporated by reference the same as if <br />specifically written herein are rules, regulations, and all other requirements imposed by <br />law, including but not limited to compliance with those pertinent rules and regulations of <br />the State of Texas and those of United States agencies providing funds to the State of <br />Texas, <br /> <br />12. AUDIT REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br />The COUNTY hereby agrees to comply with the requirements specified in the Single <br />Audit Act, 31 U,S.C. ~~ 7500 et seq. (Supp.1999) (Public Law 104-156), as applicable. <br /> <br />13. WRITTEN MODIFICATION <br /> <br />No modification or amendment to this Agreement shall become valid unless in writing <br />and signed by both parties. <br /> <br />14. EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY <br /> <br />The Grantee agrees to comply with all provisions of Executive Order No. 11246 <br />(September 24, 1965), and of the rules, regulations, and relevant Orders of the <br />Secretary of Labor- <br /> <br />15. RIGHTS IN DATA <br /> <br />A. The term "subject data" as used in this agreement means recorded information, <br />whether or not copyrighted, that is delivered or specified to be delivered under this <br />Agreement The term includes graphic or pictorial delineations in media such as <br />drawings or photographs; audio-visual recordings such as films or videotapes; text <br />in specifications or related performance or design-type documents; machine forms <br />such as punched cards, magnetic tape, or computer memory printouts; and <br />information retained in computer memory. <br /> <br />1) Examples of "subject data" include, but are not limited to: engineering drawings <br />and associated' lists; specifications; standards; process sheets; manuals; <br />technical reports; catalog item identifications; and related information. <br /> <br />2) The term does not include financial reports, costs analysis, and similar <br />information incidental to program administration, <br /> <br />B.
