Over $1.3 million has been reinvested in La Porte's Main <br />Street District, both public and private monies, since <br />entering the Texas Main Street Program in January 2005. <br /> <br />. The HCAD market values for the Main Street District have <br />increased by 13.6%, for a total of$1.5 million, since being in <br />the Main Street Program the past three years. <br /> <br />.
