This V. cent sales tax would generate roughly $700,000 annually and would be <br />used to prepare, and pay for, the third ambulance implementation and to offset general fund expenditures. Chief <br />Boaze will be available at Monday night's meeting to discuss this item with you. I've attached a notice published by <br />the States Comptroller Office on "City Sales Tax Options" and have included the pertinent sections of the Local <br />Government Code dealing with this issue.
