<br />Project 893 - Trail System Planning <br /> <br />THIRD QUARTER FY 07-08 <br />Council has approved the design contract with Huitt-Zollars, Inc. for this design project. <br /> <br />Project 903 - Sylvan Beach Shoreline Protection and Beach Nourishment Project <br /> <br />THIRD QUARTER FY 07-08 <br />An amended agreement has been approved by the City of La Porte and the Texas <br />General Land Office authorizing additional funding to allow the project to be bid. Bids are <br />expected to be let by the end of July, with bid award in August. <br /> <br />Project 923 Park Improvements, West Side Park property <br /> <br />THIRD QUARTER FY 07-08 <br /> <br />The project has been changed due to the City of Pasadena withdrawing from the joint <br />venture sports complex. Subject to approval at the July 28th Council meeting, the City of <br />La Porte is proceeding with placement of a sportsfield complex on this site, and <br />determining a method of procurement. <br /> <br />Project 924 - Sports Complex <br /> <br />THIRD QUARTER FY 07-08 <br />The City of Pasadena through its Mayor has notified La Porte that it will not participate in <br />this project. The City of La Porte is considering other sites in the city that can <br />accommodate the fields that La Porte needs (see Project 923 above). <br /> <br />Project 925 - Landscape and Irrigation - Entrance Signs <br /> <br />THIRD QUARTER FY 07-08 <br />The signs are complete except for waterline to one sign. We are in the process of <br />invoicing TxDOT for reimbursement to the City of La Porte for its share of the project <br />based on our agreement. <br /> <br />Project 947 - Brookglen Pool Repairs <br /> <br />THIRD QUARTER FY 07-08 <br />This project is complete <br /> <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />
