<br />Traffic Impact Analysis <br />Bayshore Elementary School <br /> <br />Introduction <br /> <br />La Porte ISO is planning to construct a new elementary school in La Porte, TX, northeast <br />of the intersection of State Highway 146 and McCabe Road, as illustrated in Figure 1. <br />The new elementary school will replace the existing Bayshore Elementary School, which <br />was damaged by Hurricane Ike in 2008. Construction of the new elementary school will <br />commence in 2009, and the school is planned to open in early 20 10. The purpose of this <br />report is to assess the impacts of the construction of the elementary school on traffic on <br />area roadways and intersections.
