<br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />2010- 2&; <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A SECTION 3 LOCAL OPPORTUNITY PLAN FOR <br />THE TEXAS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (TXCDBG) <br />PROGRAM. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, participation in the TXCDBG Program requires the City to strive to attain <br />goals for compliance with Section 3 regulations by increasing opportunities for <br />employment and by contracting with Section 3 residents and businesses within its <br />jurisdictional boundaries in accordance with an adopted Section 3 Local Opportunity <br />Plan. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA <br />PORTE, TEXAS THAT: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> <br />The City Council hereby resolves to adopt a Section 3 Local <br />Opportunity Plan, attached hereto and incorporated herein. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED this the 8th day of November, 2010. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />'-IJ144A'~ <br /> <br />City Secretary <br /> <br />t1~r~ <br /> <br />Assistant City Attorney <br />
