Divide the list among committee members. Each member is to contact the names on their list and encourage them to develop a Census awareneSs campaign targeted to their followers. Distribute resource materials generated by the Census Bureau to be used by religious organizations. Develop a list of suggested activities for religious institutions. Convene a meeting of religious leaders for the purpose of creating inter. denominational Census awareness activities. Draft a brochure on the CONFIDENTIALITY of Census data to be distributed to all religious organizations. Encourage religious leaders to allocate space in their facility for a Questionnaire Assistance Center (QAC) and a Be Counted Center. Establish a communication link whereby the committee and the religious organizations can exchange and share information on a regular basis. Distribute Census job notices to all religious institutions. . Create special Census announcements that can be used in church bulletins and newsletters. Encourage churches to include Census awareness on all special programs, such as, First Sunday, Children's Day, Christmas Celebration, Thanksgiving service, Men's Day and Women's Day.
