Seed Plan 1 is used when the average maximum daylight air temperature <br />for the preceding two calendar weeks is less than 75 degrees F. <br />D. Seeding rate is for "Pure Live Seed (PLS). Percentage of purity, <br />germination and dormant seeds, as shown on the seed tag, shall be used <br />to determine the actual application rate of bulk material to obtain required <br />amount of PLS per acre. PLS = (%germination + %dormant seed) x <br />%purity. <br />E. Seed Plans 4-8 are used only when shown on the Plans or when directed <br />by the Engineer. <br /> <br />3.4 PLANTING METHODS <br /> <br />A.
