' ~r~ <br />.~ ~ ~~ <br />~~- ARTICLE TEN: GENERAL PROVISIONS ~ ~_~ <br />~ ~~ ~ <br />SECTION 10-100 ZONING OF NEWLY ANNEXED LAND <br />~.. <br />10-101 <br />10=102 <br />~~~ <br />~~~ <br />All territory annexed hereafter to the City of <br />La Porte shall be temporarily classified as Single <br />Family and Duplex Residential District, only until <br />permanently zoned by the La Porte City Commission. <br />Immediately after the annexation of any territory <br />to the City of La Porte, the City Clerk shall commence <br />any action necessary to the City Planning and Zoning <br />Commission to recommend a permanent zoning classifi- <br />cation. The procedure for making permanent such <br />classification shall be the same as is provided by <br />law for the adoption of the original zoning regula- <br />tions . 13-~po> ~ ~ ~ ~ <br />In an area temporarily class fied as Single Family <br />and Duplex~Residential Distr ct, a zoning permit <br />may be issued for the constr ction of structures <br />or uses permitted in Section, Single Family Dis- <br />trict Regulations, or other structures or uses,. <br />provided an application for such structure or <br />use be made to the City Clerk, who shall. in turn <br />refer such application to the City ~ P~la~nn°ing and <br />Zoning Commission for-c-o.n.sideration and recommendation <br />to City Commis {sion. <br />~.. _ _~-._ _ y <br />~.
