A zoning permit for the construction, alteration, or <br />enlargement of a manufacturing or similar activity will <br />be issued only if the application for the same has affixed <br />to it a signed statement by the owner, a duly authorized <br />representative, and/or the certificate of an architect <br />or engineer licensed by the State of Texas, certifying <br />that the building or structure being constructed, or <br />that portion being altered or enlarged and the proposed <br />use thereof complies with all provisions of this zoning <br />ordinance with respect to performance standards. The <br />Zoning Administrator shall upon receipt of such appli- <br />cation approve it and authorize the issuance of a zoning <br />certificate, provided, however, that all other relevant <br />provisions of this zoning ordinance are complied with. <br />Within fifteen (15) days after the date of such approval, <br />the Zoning Administrator shall examine said applica- <br />tion and shall advise the owner, duly authorized repre- <br />sentative, or architect or engineer in writing if the <br />building or structure or portion thereof, or the use <br />thereof, does not in fact comply with the performance <br />standards. Failure of the owner, the duly authorized <br />representative, or architect or engineer to show com- <br />pliance within thirty (30) days of such notification shall <br />be cause for revocation of the zoning permit. <br /> <br />~~ <br />
