Being lots 20 and 21 of block 34 of Beach Park Addition, which is <br />located adjacent to our home and is shown irr the attached Platt. <br />We desire this variance for the following reasons: <br />Our intention is to occupy as our retirement home, the larger <br />of the two tovrnhomes as shown in the attached Conceptual Approval <br />Design, which is a 1583 square foot livable area plus oversized <br />auto garage and hobby workshop areas; <br />And to make available .the 765~~square foot~townhome to a member <br />of our family, or to rent it to a carefully selected tenant. <br />We anticipate our present home, which is adjacent, remaining <br />our property or being sold to one of our married children; in <br />either case, we will reserve rights to the swimming pool. We <br />call your attention to•the fact that our Dome is the only single •~-~ -~ <br />family residence~on this part of Bayshore Drive, and the only <br />single family home of substantial value in the general area. <br />• We respectfully call your attention to the Conceptual Design of the <br />proposed building which demonstrates careful compliance by our contractor <br />to our requirement that the home have none of the usual appearance of a <br />duplex or apartment building. • <br /> <br />.. i <br />
