<br />Called Meeting 9/14/77 <br />2 <br />4. CONSIDER APPROVING FINAL PLAT, FAIRMONT PARK 4~TEST, SECTION THREE - <br />Eddie Gray presented the final plat for Fairmont Park West, <br />Section Three. <br />Mr. Horacefield spoke to the Commission about the added load on <br />the sewage treatment plat in Fairmont Park if the Commission <br />approved this plat for 229 homes. Mayor J. J. Meza, Carlos <br />Smith and Eddie Gray helped explain further the capacity of the <br />treatment plant. Mr. Gray said the plant had a capacity of <br />580,000 gals. a day. Carlos Smith said this c,Tould accomodate <br />roughly 2,500 homes. Based on P4r. Horacefield figures the plant <br />would accomodate 1900 homes. The plant now serves nearly 1000 <br />homes with an effluent of about 200,000 gal. a day as stated by <br />Mr. Gray. Todate the commission has approved final plats for <br />423 homes, this includes a 190 homes in Glenmeadocas located <br />north of Fairmont Park. A total of a 1400 homes are committed <br />to service by the plant. Mr. Carlos Smith gave the Commission <br />members figures from City records on the sewage through put <br />for the last seven months (see attachment). <br />Joe Ligi asked that figures on the sewerage plant capacity be <br />submitted to the Commission by the next meeting. Make that <br />both plants. <br />Before approval of the final plat the Commission wanted to <br />hear about a park site for Fairmont Park West. Stan Sherwood <br />recommended to the Commission to accept the tax value of the <br />land which amounts to $4,000.00 an acre. Dedicated park land <br />would amount to 3.28 acres. A di$cussion ensued by everyone <br />present as'i:o fair market value of the land in Fairmont Park <br />West. <br />This issue was tabled in order to consider Mr. Wolf's request <br />for a variance.
