NO. 482 (EDDIE GRAY PROPERTIES IN FAIRMONT <br />PARIC) FROM RESIDENTIAL TO "C" APARTMENT <br />AND COMMERCIAL <br />The Planning & Zoning Commission made a recommendation concerning <br />the above referenced property on June 4, 1979. Our recommendation <br />at that time was to grant the rezoning request. <br />After holding a public hearing on said property, we were asked <br />to consider further. At our meeting last night, December 4, 1979, <br />the subject was discussed again thoroughly. <br />Our recommendation remains the same. We feel that peripheral <br />• property surrounding a subdivision and abutting high traffic streets <br />is ideal for commercial zoning. <br />We therefore reiterate our earlier recommendation to rezone said <br />property as requested,'and since the matter has been pending for <br />six months, we also urge the Council to act promptly. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />~~ ~~ -- <br />Pat Muston, Chairma~~ <br />1dd <br />~~ <br />
