Rollaway <br />S U u J E C I' :Variance for tnTalter Grccla, 514 South Iowa <br />[~Talter Groda requested a variance to Ordinance 780, regulating building <br />line set backs to 25'. <br />He desires to construct a car port in front of his home, located at <br />514 South Iowa. The car port would be 20' long and be built in front of <br />the attached garage that sits 6' back of t'~e front of the building, <br />leaving 12' extending into the front yard. <br />The front of the building is 41' from the curb, which would place the <br />front of the car port 29' from the curb and not extending into the <br />required front yard more than approximately 6'. <br />The car port would be constructed of 2' pipe supports with metal bar <br />joist supporting 2"Y4" lathe every 12" with a sheet metal roof covering. <br />the exposed sides of the bar joist and front would be covered with <br />wood siding extending 12" do~~m from tY~~e roof. <br />
