. <br />-60- <br />Y <br />dinance shall apply only to the specific property upon <br />which the Commission was requested to approve a plat <br />and that such variance shall not constitute a Chang e <br />of this Ordinance, or any part thereof, or establish <br />any policy, rule or regulation contrary to the pro- <br />visions of this Ordinance. <br />b. Any variance on a recorded plat granted before the date <br />of adoption of this Ordinance is hereby recognized as <br />continuing to be valid and complianc e with the pro- <br />visions of this Section shall not be required. <br />c. Any person desiring to secure a variance as to the pro- <br />visions of this Ordinance must submit a written request <br />with the other materials pursuant to Section 4 herein. <br />• Any request for a variance must cite the specific rule, <br />policy or standard contained in this Ordinance from which <br />q variance is desired. Additionally, the request must <br />state the extent of the variance sought and the specific <br />facts or reasons why such variance is needed. <br />d. No variance may be granted by the Commission unless <br />approved by a majority vote of the members present at <br />the meeting of the Commission at which the variance re- <br />quest is presented and that the commission aff irmatively <br />finds: <br />1. That the variance would not be contrary to th e <br />general purpose and goals stated in this Ordiance. <br />2. That the variance would not be ~3etrimental to the <br />public health, saf ety or welfare, to be injurious <br />
