Box 1115 <br />La Porte, Texas 77571 <br />Subject: Request for Variance from Section 11.01 of the City of La Porte <br />Development Ordinance <br />Attention: Mr. Robert Speake <br />Gentlemen: <br />On behalf of Dana Transport, Inc „ a variance is requested from Section 11.01 <br />of the Ordinance. Specifically, it is proposed that the "K" Street access to <br />the Dana Development be asphalt paving in lieu of the ordinance requirement <br />of concrete paving with curbs. The following is offered in support of this <br />request: <br />• 1) Concrete paving with curbs requires a storm sewer for proper drainage <br />design, The subject development area is not conducive to this type <br />of drainage system without extensive site work. <br />2) "K1A Street comes off of N.
