Drivewav Approaches <br /> <br />Driveway approaches shall be a minimum two feet (2') from the <br />side property line in residential districts, and ten feet <br />(10') from the side property line in business or industrial <br />districts, or R-3 residential districts. <br /> <br />6. Surfacinq <br /> <br />All areas intended to be utilized for parking space and <br />driveways shall be surfaced with materials suitable to control <br />dust and drainage. Except in the case of single family and <br />two family dwellings, driveways and stalls shall be surfaced <br />in conformance with the Public Improvements Criteria Manual. <br />Plans for surfacing and drainage of driveway and stalls for <br />five (5) or more vehicles shall be submitted to the Director <br />of Community Development for his review and the final drainage <br />plan shall be subject to his written approval. <br /> <br />7. Stripinq <br /> <br />Except for single family, two family and townhouse dwellings, <br />all parking stalls shall be marked with painted lines not less <br />than four inches (4") wide. <br /> <br />8. Liqhtinq <br /> <br />Any lighting used to illuminate an off-street parking area <br />shall be so arranged as to reflect the light away from <br />adjoining property, abutting residential uses and public <br />right-of-way. <br /> <br />9. Curbinq <br /> <br />Except for single family, two family and townhouse dwellings, <br />all open off-street parking shall have a curb barrier not <br />closer than two feet (2') to all street frontage. <br /> <br />10. Required Screeninq <br /> <br />Any screening required shall consist of the following: <br /> <br />a. A planting strip shall consist of evergreen ground-cover I <br />and shall be of sufficient width and density to provide <br />an effective screen. The planting strip shall contain <br />no structures or other use. Such planting strip shall <br />not be less than six feet (6') in height. Earth mounding <br />or berms may be used, but shall not be used to achieve <br />more than two feet (2') of the required screen. <br />
