These water system design requirements <br />could be handed out to parties interested in developing a site within La <br />Porte and the City will receive nearly identical products every time with <br />these design criteria in place. <br />Utilities -There is sufficient water in the City of La Porte's capacity to <br />serve additional customers. The adoption of these criteria will in no way <br />affect the ability to continue to provide superior service to the current <br />water customers or to provide service to the industrial district on a case <br />by case basis as it is currently undertaken. <br />Conclusion and ~ ' <br />Recommendation: Staff has written and' reviewed the proposed Chapter 3 to the PICM and after <br />internal review by various City Departments found it to be in accordance <br />with the Development Ordinance of the City as well as the currern mission to <br />provaile uninterrupted, clean water service to the citizens of La Porte. Staff <br />. recommends an additional meeting be held in August on this subject to take <br />action at that time and recommend its approval to City Council. <br />
