7. DISCUSSION ITEMS: <br />a. Proposed Development at Wharton Weems and SH 146: <br />Staff introduced a prospective developer for the 57-acres of land located at Wharton Weems Blvd and SH <br />146 The developer went over a broad vision for a possible mixed use development consisting of single <br />family residential and commercial. The commission provided feedback regarding possible uses and access <br />to the site The developer will regroup and decide whether to proceed with a SCUP application. <br />b. Future Land Use Designation — 3900 Underwood Rd: <br />This item was a request by Commissioner Follis Due to his absence the item was postponed and will be <br />brought back at a future meeting. <br />c. Chapter 106 Subcommittee — Update: <br />Commissioner Oieda volunteered to take part on the subcommittee replacing former Commissioner <br />Tschappat. <br />d. Comprehensive Plan — Update: <br />Director Evans provided a brief update to the Commission on the status of the ongoing Comprehensive Plan <br />update. <br />8. ADMINISTRATIVE REPORT: <br />a. Council Action Update. <br />City Planner Ian Clowes went over recent City Council action on items previously heard by the Commission. <br />b.
