<br />f, <br />j. <br /> <br />On or about August 9, 1999, the City Council of the City of La Porte, Texas, pursuant to <br />chapter 311 of the Texas Tax Code, adopted Ordinance No. 99-2350 enlarging the <br />boundaries of Reinvestment Zone Number One, City of La Porte, Texas; and <br /> <br />On or about August 9, 1999, the City Council of the City of La Porte, Texas adopted <br />Ordinance No. 99-2352 approving a project plan and reinvestment zone financing plan <br />for Reinvestment Zone Number One, City of La Porte, Texas; and <br /> <br />The Commissioners Court of Harris County, pursuant to TEX. TAX CODE ANN.' 9 <br />311.013, makes the determination on behalf of Harris County only and not on behalf of <br />any other political subdivision within Harris County, to pay to the Tax Increment Fund, <br />to the extent authorized by law, seventy-five percent (75%) of the tax increment <br />attributed to the taxes collected by Harris County on the Captured Appraised Value in <br />Reinvestment Zone Number One, City of La Porte, Texas, for the tax years commencing <br />on January 1,2001 and terminating on December 31,2029; and <br /> <br />The Commissioners Court of Har:ris County desires to approve the County's entering into <br />an interlocal agreement with the City of La Porte, Texas and Reinvestment Zone Number <br />One, City of La Porte, Texas based on the aforesaid representations. NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDERED BY THE COMMISSIONERS COURT OF HARRIS COUNTY, <br />TEXAS THAT: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The recitals set forth in this order are true and correct. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Interlocal Agreement is approved and the County Judge of Harris <br />County or his designee is authorized to execute the Interlocal Agreement with the City of <br />La Porte, Texas and Reinvestment Zone Number One, City of La Porte, Texas for the <br />thirty-year period commencing on January 1, 2001 and terminating on December 31, <br />2029. The Agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes. <br /> <br />Section 3: The Clerk of Commissioners Court shall transmit a copy of this Order to <br />the Harris County Appraisal District, the Assessor and Collector of Taxes for Harris <br />County, the Mayor and City Council of the City of La Porte, Texas and the Board of <br />Directors of Reinvestment Zone Number One, City of La Porte, Texas. <br /> <br />2 <br />
