Each unit will <br />contain a small office.of 120 square feet with toilet <br />facilities -and the balance of the area of each unit <br />would be warehouse space. <br />The City of La Porte's requirements for parking is a <br />minimum of 4 spaces, plus 1 space for every 1,000 <br />square feet of office area and 1 space for each 1..5 non - <br />office employes'. This.would be a minimum of 6 spaces <br />for each unit or a total parking requirement of 264 <br />spaces. <br />I believe this is an excessive requirement for this <br />-type of development.* A requirement of 4 spaces per <br />i unit would be -adequate. <br />- --"-I-woul3--anicipate`-a_maxi um -of 4 spaces�,'_ one secretary- - <br />salesman, one salesman, one warehouse employee.and one <br />visitor, per unit.' <br />There is a similar existing' development located in the <br />400 block of North 11th.
