All agenda items are subject to action. <br />1. Call to Order <br />The Mayor will determine that a quorum ofCouncilpersons is present and open the business <br />meeting. <br />2. Invocation and Pledges of Allegiance <br />INVOCATION - The invocation will be given by Pastor Tyrone B. Jones, Zion Hill Praise <br />Center. <br />PLEDGES - Will be led by Drayden Isom. <br />U.S. Flag <br />Texas Flag: Honor the Texas Flag. I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas, one state, under <br />God, one and indivisible. <br />3. Recognttkm <br />3.a Inaugural National Emergency Management Awareness Month [Johnny Morales, <br />Emergency Management Coordinator] <br />4. Citizen Comment <br />State law provides that members of the public may speak before the Council considers an <br />item of business. Complete a sign up sheet before speaking. (Generally limited to five <br />minutes per person; the time may be reduced if there is a high number of speakers or for <br />other considerations.) Members of the Council may ask questions or make statements of <br />fact in response to comments but are not obligated to respond and will not participate in <br />debate or take action during this portion of the agenda. Items may be requested for future <br />agendas in accordance with the adopted Rules of Procedure. <br />5. Consent Agenda <br />Approval of Consent Agenda items authorizes each to be implemented in accordance with <br />staff recommendations provided. An item may be removed from the Consent Agenda and <br />added to the Statutory Agenda for full discussion upon request by a member of the Council <br />present at this meeting. <br />5.a Approve the minutes of the regular City Council meeting held on July 28, 2025.
