REGULAR ~fEETI <br />LA PORTE CITY COUNCIL <br />~~ JULY THIRTEENTH <br />~, 1931 <br />Meeting was called to order by the mayor A N McKay. <br />~~~ All members of the council was present except alderman call. <br />Mr. H 8 Burt of H C Burt Inv. Co. was present with an ordl- <br />~. <br />-,ti~% Hance providing for the. issuing of script warrants in pay- <br />went of obligations on the sewer and water e$tensAon contract <br />in e~acesa of the amount provided for in the- bond issue which <br />was voted for that purpose. <br />Mayor A N ~[c Kay read the ordinance to the council. <br />Alderman Sandel offered a motion seconded by alderman Sharp <br />that the ordinance be passed. <br />Alderman warp, Bendel, Tolle and Ruff voting yea. Alderman <br />. mall absent, <br />Carried. <br />Alderman Sandel offered a motion seconded by alderman Tolle <br />thstthe rule requiring an ordinance to be read at three sep- <br />arate meetings of the council be suspended and that this <br />ordinance be placed on itts final reading. <br />' Aldermen Tolle, Bendel Ruff and Sharp voted yea.
