Board of the La Porte Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency Medical <br />Services District <br />Notice is hereby given of a Special Called Meeting and Public Hearing of the Board of the La <br />Porte Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services District to be held Thursday, <br />June 21, 2012 at 6:00 p.m., at the Fire Administration Building, 124 South 2nd St, La Porte, Texas, <br />for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. All agenda items are subject to <br />action. The Board of the La Porte Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services <br />District reserves the right to meet in a closed session on any agenda item should the need arise <br />and if applicable pursuant to authorization by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government <br />Code. <br />1. Call to Order <br />2. Approve minutes of La Porte Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services <br />Board of Directors meeting, held on April 5, 2012. <br />3. Open public hearing to consider a budget for the fiscal year which begins October 1, <br />2012. <br />a) Staff presentation; <br />b) Comments by members of the public; <br />c) Questions by Board members; and <br />d) Close public hearing <br />4. Consider approval or other actions on the proposed budget for the fiscal year which <br />begins October 1, 2012. <br />6.
