City of La Porte Planning and Zoning Commission Agenda <br />Notice is hereby given of a Regular Meeting, Public Hearings, and Workshop of the La Porte <br />Planning and Zoning Commission to be held on November 15, 2012, at 6:00 P.M. at City Hall Council <br />Chambers, 604 West Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, Texas, regarding the items of business according to <br />the agenda listed below: <br />1. Call to order <br />2. Roll Call of Members <br />3. Consider approval of October 18, 2012, meeting minutes. <br />4. Open Public Hearing to receive citizen input on Rezone Request #12-92000002, for the property <br />located along North C Street, further described as Lots 1 through 32, Block 672, and TRS 1 <br />through 16, Block 673, Town of La Porte, Johnson Hunter Survey, Abstract No. 35, La Porte, <br />Harris County, Texas. M.D. Evans c/o Majoe Venture, LLC. property owner, seeks to have this <br />property rezoned from Business Industrial (BI) to Light Industrial (LI), for proposed expansion of <br />existing facility at 3008 North 23rd Street. <br />A. Donald Wayne Giffin Sr., property owner, seeks to have this <br />property rezoned from Low Density Residential (R-1) to General Commercial (GC) for proposed <br />expansion of existing business at 3122 Underwood Road. <br />A.
