ORDINANCE NO. 2 013 - � Lo <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 50 "PARKS AND RECREATION", ARTICLE II <br />"GOLF COURSE", APPENDIX -A "FEES", AND SECTION 50-37 "ANNUAL <br />MEMBERSHIPS", OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LA PORTEI <br />CONTAINING A REPEALING CLAUSE] CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE] <br />FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAWT AND PROVIDING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: <br />Section 1. Chapter 50 of Appendix A -- Fees, "Parks and <br />Recreation," Article II, "Golf Course", subparagraph (d), "User <br />fees for annual membership holders", is hereby amended by replacing <br />subsection (5) and adding new subsections (6) and (7), which <br />subsections shall hereafter read as follows, to -wit: <br />"(d) User fees for annual membership holders 50-32 <br />(5) Family Membership (Resident) <br />a. Cash - Lump Sum ............. 800.00 <br />b. User Fee Per Player......... 5.00 <br />(Each Time They Play) <br />(6) Family Membership (Nonresident) <br />a. Cash - Lump Sum ............. 1,000.00 <br />b. User Fee Per Player......... 5.00 <br />(Each Time They Play) <br />(7) The Golf Course Manager shall have the <br />authority to market the golf course by <br />using various promotions, such as daily, <br />hourly, and/or price specials, and other <br />promotions which he may deem desirable <br />to enhance revenue at the Bay Forest <br />Golf Course." <br />Section 2. Section 50-37 "Annual Memberships" is hereby <br />amended and hereafter read as follows, to -wit: <br />"Sec. 50-37, Annual Memberships <br />Annual memberships may be sold to persons or families <br />registering for membership.
