<br />5. Mayor Malone presented Centennial certificates of Appreciation
<br />to Ben Renfro, Frances Dalmolin, Elaine Bonner and Jim Counts.
<br />
<br />6. Mr. Ben Renfro, representing Dow, and Mr. Roy Johnson,
<br />representing DuPont, made a special presentation to the city
<br />of a time capsule. This capsule is a part of the City IS
<br />Centennial celebration. Special envelopes will be sold to
<br />persons wishing to place items in the capsule, which will be
<br />buried at City Hall. Mayor Malone purchased the first
<br />envelope. The capsule will be unearthed and opened in 50
<br />years.

<br />7. There were no citizens wishing to address Council.
<br />
<br />8. Council considered ordinances declaring dangerous buildings.
<br />
