<br />--PARCELS OF LAND SITUATED WITHIN THE .CORPORATE ~LI~ZTS OF THE CITY UN WHICH
<br />-TMPR(NEMENTS ARE LOCATID AND WHICH ANY PROPERTY LIlVE THEREOF IS WITHIBT
<br />TAREE HUNDRED (300) FEET FROM ANY MAIN OR LATERAL SEViIERAGE LINE OF THE
<br />CITY; SUCH ASSESSMENTS BEING FOR THE COST OF MATERIAL AND LABOR TU BE
<br />EXPENDED BY THE CITY IN CONNECTING SUCH PROPERTIES TO SUCH SEWERAGE -LINES;
<br />FIktTHER.PROVIDIATG THE METHOD OF"PAYMENT OF SAID COST AND AUTHORIZING SAID
<br />CITY TO ACCEPT THE NOTE AND VOLUNTARY LIEN OF SUCH PROPERTY 'OV~TERS IN
<br />EVIDENCE AND SECURITY OF THE COST THUS EXPENDED,
<br />be adopted as read.

<br />The Mayor introduced an ordinanc® which was read in full. Cormnissioner
<br />Crate made a motion that the ordinance be adopted as read. The motion was
<br />seconded by Mayor Pfeiffer and carried by the following vote: AYES: Mayor
<br />Pfeiffer, Commissioner Crate. NOES.: None. The Ordinance thus adopted

<br />AN ORDINANCE AWARDING SALE ~OF `50,000 INSTALLMENT OF A
<br />X100,000 ISSUE OF WATERWORKS AND SEVER SYSTEM REVENUE
<br />BONDS.
<br />BE IT ORDAINED by the City Commission of the City of La Porte, Texas:
<br />That the proposal of Ernest L. Brown, Jr., Houston, Texas, to purohase
<br />at a price of par ark. accruod interest, the.. following described bonds, to-wit
<br />X50,000 City of La Porte Vaterr~orks and Sewer System Revenue Bonds,
<br />dated March 15, 1~Ci.9, bearing interest at the rate of ITf per annum,
<br />maturing as provided in the ordinance authorizing the issuance of
<br />said bonds adopted by the City Commission of the City of La Porte,
<br />Texas, on June 28, 1~,9, being numbered 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, ,13, 15,
<br />l7, 19, 22, 25, 28, 31, 3~+, 37, ~.o, 43, 1~6, . ~-9, 50, 53, 54, 57, 58,
<br />61, G2, 65, 66, 69, 70, 73, 74, 77, ?8, 81,82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87,
<br />88, 89, 90, 91, g2, 93, 94, and 95, and being a part of the X100,000
<br />installment of bonds authorized by sair3. ordinance,
<br />be and the same is hereby aoeepted. Said bonds shall be delivered to the
<br />said Ernest L. Brov~m, Jr., subject to the unqualified approval as to the
<br />legality by the Attorney General of Texas and municipal band attorneys
<br />designated by the purchaser.
<br />That, the Attorney General of Texas is requested to appra~ve only the
<br />bonds numbered out of the X100,000 in principal amount of bonds authorized
<br />in said ordinance and to ho]r~. the remaining X50,000 until further orders
<br />of the City Commission.
