J. <br />Pfeiffer, with the following members and city officials present: Comm- <br />issioner Jas. S. Crate, Jr., Raleigh Erwin, Supt. of Publie rUorks, Carl <br />C. Patriok, City Attorney, and J. E. b7uldoon, City Clerk. <br />PuTinutes of the last meeting v~tere read and approved. <br />The Mayor instructed the City Clerk to open bids on a Shovel Loader <br />Tractor, which were advertised for on October 1~th, 1919. 1'he bids <br />were tabulated as follows: <br />Benson Tractor Co. Bid $8,205.38 <br />Benson Traotor Co. Alternate Bid $7,651.01 <br />Browning-Ferris Mach. Co. Bid x$,050.00 <br />Browning-Ferris Mach. Co. Alternate Bid X7,295.00 <br />Gulf `t'ractor & Equip. Co. Bid ~9, 018.99 <br />The Commission unanimously agreed not to award bid to any of the bidders <br />until all members were present. <br />Motion by Crate, seoond by Pfeiffer, authorizing the City Clerk to issue <br />Moore & Moore, Contractors, check for $3,5714..65, out of the Revenue Bond <br />Fund, for their estimate No. 1, same being approved by Wyatt C. Hed- <br />rick, City Engineer. <br />Carried. <br />Motion by Crate, seoond by Pfeiffer, that the City charge the following <br />fees for plumbing permits: <br />Sewer Tap <br />Sewer Inspection <br />5 Plummbing Fixtures <br />1 .Plumbing Fixture (Minimum) <br />Over 5 Plumbing Fixtures <br />7 Gas Opening s <br />1 Gas Opening (Minimum) <br />Over 7 Gaa Openings <br />Fees to be effective immediately. <br />$10.00 <br />2.50 <br />5.00 <br />1.00 <br />.50 per fixture <br />2.00 <br />1.00 <br />.20 per opening <br />Carried. <br />~~ <br />
