i ~ <br />ML'VUlES - SPECIAL ~'~'ETrivG <br />LA P~tI'E CT'i'Y COMMISSION - OC`1'OBER 21, 1919 <br />l0:3o A. M. <br />Speoial meeting of the City Commmission was called to order by Mayor I3. J. <br />Pfeiffer, with the following members and city officials present: Commissioner <br />Jas. S. Crate, Jr., Wm. Maness, representing V~yatt C. Hedrick, City Engineer, <br />and J. E. Muldoon, City Clerk. <br />~1r. Wm. P,~ianess presented the City Commission with preliminary plans drawn by <br />the Texas Highway Department and dated October, 191ag, Office of Jim Douglass, <br />District Engineer, District No. 12, which widens and makes the "5 Points" <br />more accessible to traffic. <br />Upon motion by Commissioner Jas. S. gate, Jr., duly seconded by Mayor Pfeiffer, <br />the City Commission approved the plans as submitted by Mr. Maness, representing <br />Wyatt C. Hedrick, City Engineer, and authorized him to take whatever notion was <br />necessary to make these plans a reality. <br />Carried. <br />Motion by Crate, seconded by Pfeiffer, instructing Wyatt C. Hedrick, City <br />Engineer, to answ®r letter dated October 19, 19Ii.9, from the State Department <br />of Health, Austin, `iexaet, relative to eomstruetion of new Imhoff tank. <br /> <br />Carried. <br />Motion by Crate, second by Pfeiffer, that the meeting adjourn. <br />Carried. <br />ES'1.' s <br />~• <br />iZ^~ <br />.
