Baugh, President of the La Porte Independent School District, appeared before the Comr~.ssion and requested the City to close East "F" Avenue, from Broad- way to Dakota, Texas Avenue from "G" to "E", and Tdontana from "G" to "F". The Commission unanimously instructed the City Attorney to draw an ordinance ~ closing these streets, providing the school district purchases the properties adjacent to these streets or commences condemnation suits on these properties.
