D. <br />Burgin,. with the following members and city officials present : Corruaission- <br />ers L. ft. Rigby and•H. P. Pfeiffer, Special Counsel Jno. S. Kiibler, arrl <br />City Clerk Frank G. Baker. <br />Minutes of the last meeting were read ar~d approved. <br />Motion by Pfeiffer, second by Rigby, that the City~s tax titles to the <br />several pieces of property be sold to the highest respective bidders therefor <br />in accc~dance with• the following resolutions which were adopted, to wit: <br />11IH~tEAS, the City of La Porte has given notica, as required <br />by the City Charter and the laws of the State of Texas, that the City <br />of La Porte will se1.1. all its right, title and interest acquired by <br />Sheriffs Deed under tax foreclosure proceedings, in aid tb the here- <br />inafter described property; and ' <br />WHEREAS, Robert R. F3reaker, Trustee, was the highest res- <br />ponsible bidder for the hereinafter described property: <br />NC~VP, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVID BY THE CITY COI~:~ISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF LA P~tTE, TEXAS, that the Mayor and City Clerk of the City <br />of La Forte, be, and they are hereby, authorized aix3 instructed to exe- <br />cute and deliver a Deed conveying a1]. of the City s right, title. aa~d. <br />interest in and to Lots No. Tvrenty-One (21) Twenty-Tvro (22) and T4renty- <br />Seven (27) and Twenty-,.~ht (28), in Block No. Two Hundred Sixty Nim <br />(2b9), of the Tarn of La Porte, in Harris County' Texas, in consider- <br />ation of the sum of Two Hundred Forty-Eight. and 92/100-Dollars (2t~8.92). <br />AND IT IS SO ORDERED. <br />WHEREAS, the City of La Porte has given notice, as required <br />by the City charter and the laws of the -State of Texas, that- the - pity <br />of La Porte will sell a1lii~s right, title and interest acquired by <br />Sheriff T s Deed under tax foreclosure proceedings, in and to the here- <br />inafter described property; and <br />'M~ftF.A.S, Robert R.
