• <br />Motion by Boyle, second by Brown, that Fred Ruf f be appointed t o the Zoning <br />Board, to replace Fay Wooley, <br />Carried. <br />Motion by Brown, second by Lawler, that X25,000 of the proposed bond issue <br />be allocated to Fire Department for the purchase of fire truck, fully equipped. <br />Commissioner Boyle voted "no". <br />Carried. <br />Motion by Boyle, that the area north of Main Street in the De ~'Yalt school <br />section be allocated p25,000 in the proposed bond issue to be used for a <br />lighted field, community building and parking area. Motion died f ar~ the lack <br />of a second, <br />Motion by Osborn, second by Laa~rler, that X32,000 be allocated in the proposed <br />bond issue for two lighted ball parks. <br />Moti on by Boyle, that original motion be amended. to include C oanmunity house, <br />Amendment died far lack of second, <br />Mayor Pfeiffer called for a vote on the original motion. Motion carried by <br />3 AYF~. Boyle abstained from voting, <br />Carried. <br />Motion by Lawler, second by Osborn, that X15,000 of the Fsoposed bond issue <br />be allocated to improvement of City Ha11, <br />Carried, <br />Potion by Browny second by Osborn, that ~~1t3,000 of proposed bond issue be <br />allocated to street and drainage. <br />Carried. <br />Mr. Boyle left the Canmission meeting at this time. <br />Motion by Lawler, second by Osborn, that r,'k~Yor Pfeiffer be given permission <br />to instruct theCity Attorney to write a registered letter to Commissioner <br />Boyle, requesting delivery of Civilian Defense radio to City by ~~ay 11, 1959, <br />and if he refuses or fails to deliver same by given d~.te, the City Attorney <br />is instructed to proceed by legal procedure to rec3caim radio. <br />Carried„ <br />P~4otion by Rrc~vn, second by Lawler, ratifying the payment of the follov~ing bills: <br />Bobby's Cafe <br />Frank T.
