~ ~ <br />RESOLUTION <br />j"fHEREAS, heretofore, the Mayer of the 'City of La Porte prepared and <br />submitted to the City Commission, at its meeting held. on the 5th day of <br />Junes 1959, his proposed budget for the fiscal year from the 1st day of <br />July, 1959, tO the 30th day of June, 1960; anal <br />Z~REA5, the City Commission filed such proposed budget with the Clerk <br />of the City on the 5+,h day of June, 1959, and designated that a public <br />hearing on such budget be held at the City Hall at 7:00 P. I+f,, ®n the <br />19th day of Jur~~ 1959, and caused public notice of such hearing to be made; <br />and <br />~'dHEREAS, such public hearin; has been held; <br />NOW, THEREFOP~E, it is Orflered by the City Ccxnmission that the budget, <br />as prepared and submitted by the I~4ay~, and as amended by the City C~nmission, <br />is hereby finally approved by the City Commission, and it is hereby Ordered <br />that a true copy of s uch adapted budget, together with a copy of this <br />Order, shall be filed. in each of the offices of the Clerk of the City of <br />La P®rte, the County Clerk ®f Harris County, Texas, and the State <br />Comptroller, at Austin, Texas, <br />C arried. <br />Motion by Brotim, second by Lawler, that Budget for the Fiscal Year, 1959-60, <br />be adopted, as submitted by the Mayor, <br />Carried. <br />I~'~tion by Lawler, second by Br~rn, that Ordinance Noy 568, be adopted as <br />read. C, Mc Cullum, Wendell Wilkes and <br />Chas. Norris be appointed to serve on the Equalization Board far the year <br />1959.
