<br />Commissioner Osburn was authorized to contact Carlos Smith and secure a <br />price for the preparation of a water and sewer map of the City of La Porte. <br />Motion by Stabs, second by Brown, that Charles F. Burns, Jr., be appointed to <br />Auxiliary Police. <br />Carried. <br />Comnd ssioner Stabs requested that a cattle guard be placed at the entrance <br />to the sewer plant, and also that the Fire Department be given a key. <br />Mr. James Counts presented the plat of Bay Colony for the City Commissions <br />approval. <br />Motion by Osburn, second by Dunham, that Mr. Counts first get the approval <br />of State, County and Flood Control District, on Bay Colony Plat, and then <br />present back to City, before the City approves the Plat. <br />Carried. <br />Mr. Counts presented a rough estimate on proposed fail over Fire Station. <br />Commissioner Stabs suggested that he and Mr. Counts would prepare estimate <br />on building between old City Hall and Gas Compar~r. <br />Motion by Stabs, second by Osburn, that Elmer Grevenberg and Floyd B. Reynolds <br />be com~mi.ssioned Auxili ary Police. <br />Carried. <br />The Commission agreed to let Happy Harbor hold their Board meetings in the <br />City Ha71 Aaeembly Room. <br />Motion by Osborn, second by Brown, that the City Clerk be authorized to <br />borrow $10,000.00 from the La Porte State Bank, to be paid back out of <br />current tax revenues. <br />Carried. <br />Motion by Brown, second by Dunham, that the meeting adjourn. <br />Carried. <br />/ ,/ <br />~~': <br />H.
