Notice of Meeting of the City of La Porte Civil Service Commission Notice is hereby given of a meeting of the Civil Service Commission to be held on January 21st 2014 at 2:30 in the Council Chambers Conference Room in City Hall, 604 W. Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, Texas, regarding the items according to the agenda below: 1. Call to Order 2. Consider approval of minutes from February 13t", 2013 meeting 3. Consider action to appoint the Chairman and Vice -Chairman of the Civil Service Commission 4. Consider approval or other action concerning the appeal of certain test questions missed by a candidate during the Police Sergeant Promotional Examination that was administered on December 3, 2013, in accordance with the Chapter 143 Local Government Code, and The City of La Porte Police Officers' Civil Service Rules and Regulations 5. Consider approval or other action concerning the appeal of certain test questions missed by a candidate during the Police Lieutenant Promotional Examination that was administered on December 3, 2013, in accordance with the Chapter 143 Local Government Code, and The City of La Porte Police Officers' Civil Service Rules and Regulations 6. Administrative Reports 7. Board Comments — Matters appearing on the agenda; Recognition of community members, city employees, and upcoming events; Inquiry of staff regarding specific factual information or existing policy 8.
