Pitman to <br />proceed with intervention in the oolleetioa of taxes and water bill on <br />G.D. Hair property. <br />Carried. <br />A bill from Attorney C,L. Pitman in the amount of $b33.75, for extra work <br />on annexation program, was presented to the Commission. Motion by Dunham, <br />second by Stabs, that the bill be allowed. <br />Carried. <br />A bill for $337.00 for materials to repair damages to meters, etc., which <br />a~ccured during recent freeze, and 500 lbs. of root killer, was presented. <br />Motion by Stabs, second by Dunham, that bill b e allowed. <br />Carried. <br />The City Commission of the City of La Porte, Texas, convened in regular <br />session at the City Hail within said City at 7:00 o~clock P. M., on the <br />19th day of January, 1962 , with the following members present, to-wit: <br />H. P. Pfeiffer <br />W. A. Commissioner <br />Stabs made a motion that the ordinance be adopted as read. Commissioner <br />Dunham seconded the motion for adoption of the ordinance. The motion <br />carrying with it the adoption of the ordinance, prevailed by the follow- <br />ing vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Stabs, Dunham and Mayor Pfeiffer. <br />NOES: None <br />The Mayor thereupon announced that the motion had duly and lawfully carriedl <br />and that the ordinance had been duly and lawfully adopted.
