A Cetter from the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />recommending approval of a request from Mrs. Cliff Trainer, to <br />operate a private school (Nursery through First Grade) at <br />402 South 6th Street, La Porte, was considered. Commissioner <br />Shepherd made a motton, seconded by Commissioner Stabs, that a <br />special permit be granted, in accordance with Ordinance No. 620, <br />subject to project meeting the regwirements of State laws and <br />City Ordtnances. Motton carried. <br /> <br />5. Motion made by Commissioner Stabs, seconded by <br />Commissioner Shepherd, that Harold Hunf, employee of the Water <br />and Sewer Department, be authorized to attend the Water and <br />Sewerage School, scheduled at Texas A. & M. - motion carried. <br /> <br />6. Motion made by Commissioner Shepherd, seconded <br />by Commissioner Baker, that P. 0. No. 531, rental of Dozer <br />• from Browning-Ferris Machinery Company, at an approxtmate cost <br />of two hundred sixty-five dollars ($ 265.00) be approved. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />7. Motion made by Commissioner Baker, seconded by <br />Commissioner Stabs, that P. 0. f~` 530, purchasing a 1'fr" Water <br />Meter from Rockwell Meter Company, be approved.
