Commissioner Shepherd made a motion, seconded <br />by Commissioner Stabs, that the City Attorney be authorized <br />to proceed with negotiations with the Federal Aviation Admin- <br />istration on acquiring outlots - <br />Nos. 479, 480 and 489 <br />in connection with airport runway clearance easements; further <br />that the Boyle Realy Company be authorized payment of one hun- <br />dred dollars (~ 900.00) for an appraisal of the two outiots. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. Motion was made by Commissioner Stabs, seconded <br />by Commissioner Shepherd, that Purchase Order No. 726-A, to <br />Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company, in the amount of <br />one hundred seventy-nine dollars and 4orty cents, ($ 979.40) <br />for street sign materials, be approved. Motion made by Commissioner Shepherd, seconded <br />by Commissioner Osburn, that the statement from the La Porte <br />Independent School District, for one-half the cost for lighting <br />• repairs of the Baseball Fieid, in the amount of seven hundred <br />forty dollars and sixty-six cents, (,~ 740.66). Commissioner Stabs made a motion, seconded by <br />Commissioner Osburn, that fhe City Clerk be authorized to adver- <br />tise 9948 Ford Fire Truck for sale to the highest bidder; sealed <br />bids to be submitted by 5:00 p.m., May 4th, 1964, with the pro- <br />vision that the City Commission may reject all bids.
