PUBLIC HEARINGS AND ASSOCIATED ORDINANCES (a) Public Hearing to receive comments regarding recommendation by the Planning and Zoning Commission to approve Rezone Request # 14-92000001, rezoning property from General Commercial (GC) to Low Density Residential (R-1) — E. There being no public comments, the public hearing closed at 6:15 p.m. (b) Consider approval or other action regarding an Ordinance amending Chapter 106, Zoning of the Code of Ordinances of the City of La Porte by changing the zoning classification for a .809 acre tract of land on Farrington Boulevard just north and east of Fairmont Parkway from General Commercial (GC) to Low Density Residential (R-1) — E. Ensey Councilmember Clausen moved to approve an Ordinance amending Chapter 106, Zoning of the Code of Ordinances of the City of La Porte by changing the zoning classification for a .809 acre tract of land on Farrington Boulevard just north and east of Fairmont Parkway from General Commercial (GC) to Low Density Residential (R-1).
