ra THENCE in a southerly direction, a distance of 8 feet to a point located on the centerline of the alley in Block 50, La Porte; THENCE in a westerly direction, along the centerline of the alley in Block 50, La Porte, a distance of 4 feet; THENCE in a southerly direction, a distance of 8 feet to a point marking the intersection of the south line of the alley in Block 50, La Porte and the northeast corner of Lot 15, Block 50, La Porte; THENCE In a westerly direction, along the south line of the alley In Block 50, La Porte, a distance of 121 feet to its intersection with the east line of the North 11th Street Right -of -Way; THENCE In a northerly direction along the east line of the North 11th Street Right -of -Way, a distance of 16 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING of the herein described tract. Section 2. The City of La Porte hereby retains for itself and its successors and assigns, a 16 foot wide Water and Sanitary Sewer Easement within the entire area of the above-described 16 foot wide alley to be closed by this ordinance. Section 3. The City Council officially finds, determines, recites, and declares that a sufficient written notice of the date, hour, place, and subject of this meeting of the City Council was posted at a place convenient to the public at the City Hall of the City for the time required by law preceding this meeting, as required by the Open Meetings Law, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code; and that this meeting has been open to the public as required by law at all times during which this ordinance and the subject matter thereof has been discussed, considered, and formally acted upon. The City Council further ratifies, approves, and confirms such written notice and the contents and posting thereof. Section 4. This ordinance shall be effective from and after Its passage and approval, and it is so ordered.
