P. Pfeiffer, Commissioners <br />Charles D. Boyle, Lois J. Compton, and W. A. Stabs, Jr. <br />MEMBERS OF THE CO/~?/SS/ON ABSENT: Bobby J. Burgin. <br />OTHER C/TY OFF/C/ALS PRESENT: City Engineer H. Carlos Smith, City <br />Attorney Knox W. Asktns, Chief of Police H. F. Freeman, City <br />Clerk Marilyn Kelley, and Superintendent Clifford Ellis. <br />PRESIDING: Mayor H. P. Pfeiffer <br />+ + + <br />1. Minutes of the regular meeting of August 14, 1967 and the special <br />meeting of August 30, 1967, and September 6, 1967, were approved <br />as written. <br />+ + + <br />2. Bids for the painting of the elevated water tank, were received. <br />(See Exhibit No. 1). <br />Commissioner Boyle made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Stabs, <br />that the bids be tabled for tabulation. Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />3. Bids were received for the purchase of a new Grader. (See Exhibit <br />No. 2). <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Boyle, and seconded by Commissioner <br />Stabs, that the bids be tabled for tabulation and study. Motion <br />carried. <br />+ + + <br />4. The following bids were received for the sale of the 1928 Fire <br />Truck. <br />Rocky Beal ,~550.Q0 <br />George M. Dobbins 150.00 <br />Truett Norcross 227.50 <br /> <br />
