<br />4. Commissioner Compton made a motion, seconded by Commissioner <br />Boyle and carried that the following persons be appointed to <br />serve on the Library Board: <br />Roberf Stephens <br />Rev. J. B. L i nney <br />Mrs. Clyde Williams <br />+ + + <br />5. Mr. Frank Boyle presented a letter from Billy Collins stating <br />that Mr. Collins has cut Mr. Boyles weeds. (See Exhibtt No. 1). <br />Commissioner Burgin made a motion, seconded by Commissioner <br />Compton, that Lots 91 thru 16, Block 911, Town of La Porte <br />be removed from the Weed Lien list, and that a letter of apology <br />be written to Mr. Boyle. Motion carried with Commissioners <br />Burgin, Compton and Mayor Pfeiffer voting ~~yes~~ and Commissioner <br />Boyle withholding his vote. <br />+ + + <br />6. Mayor Pfeiffer recommended that a work session be scheduled <br />to consider administration of the Weed Ordina~ace. <br />+ + + <br />7. The City Administrator was requested to study a Rat Control <br />Program. <br />+ + + <br />8. Mrs. Merritt requested that the Commission consider enlarging <br />the North Side Receration Center buil'dtng so that it can house <br />a Day Care Center as well as the Recreational program. <br />The City Administrator was requested to look into the possibility <br />of Federal assistance. <br />+ + + <br />9. Plans for Vtlla Del Monte Subdivision were presented along with <br />a request for the Ctty to furnish water and sewer to the area. <br />The City Attorney recommended that the developer be requested to <br />submit a written draff of the working proposal. <br />+ + + <br />10. Commissioner Burgin made a motion, seconded by Commissioner <br />Compton, that Knox W. Askins be paid ,325.00 as per his statement. <br />Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />
