<br />Regular Meeting 2/'7/72 - continued <br />C <br />and the Job Training Program, sponsored by <br />the Neighborhood Center. Mr. Spradling <br />stated he did not feel the city could afford <br />these programs and it was time the Commission <br />took steps to do something about them. <br />+ + + <br />3. Motion by Comm. Crofoot, seconded by Comm. Sampson <br />to adopt Ordinance No. X05-G as read. <br />Motion by Comm. Thomas, seconded by Comm. Kibodeaux <br />to amend the motion by inserting the words <br />"4 1/2 inch" before the word "National" in <br />SPCtion 1 of the Ordinance. The amendment to <br />the motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Thomas, Kibodeaux, Sampson <br />and Crofoot. <br />NAYS: None. <br />• The motion as amended carried by the following <br />vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Thomas, Kibodeaux, Sampson <br />and Crofoot. <br />NAYS: None. <br />CAPTION: <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. '705 ( AN <br />ORDINANCE PROVIDING RULES AND REGULATIONS <br />GOVERNING THE PLATTING OR RE-PLATTING OF LAND <br />IN THE SUBDIVISIONS IN THE CITY OF LA PORTE <br />AND taITFiIN THE EXTRATERRITORAL JURISDICTION <br />OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE); AND PROVIDING THAT <br />ANY PERSON VIOLATING THE TERMS OF TIiIS ORDINANCE <br />SHALL BE DEEMED GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR AND <br />UPON CONVICTION SHALL BE FINED IN ANY SUM NOT <br />LESS THAN TEN DOLLARS($10.00) NOR MORE THAN <br />TWO TIUNDRED DOLLARS($200.00) AND EACH DAY OF <br />VIOLATION SHALL BE DEEMED A SEPARATE OFFENSE; <br />AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br />+ + + <br />2 <br /> <br />
