Thomas, <br />Commissioners C. D. Christensen, G. E. Sampson and <br />C. D. Boyle. <br />MI~"IBERS OF THE COMMISSION ABSENT: I. J. Kibodeaux. <br />OTHER CITY OFFICIALS PRESENT: Larry Broussard, Director <br />of Finance, Virginia Cline, City Clerk, Knox Askins, <br />City Attorney and Robert Cline, Director of Public Works. <br />• PRESIDING: Mayor Thomas. <br />+ + + <br />1. Mayor Thomas stated the special meeting had been <br />called to meet with Mr. George Rush and Associates <br />to discuss the relocation of the lift station site <br />at the Vista Baywood Apartment project. <br />Mr. Rush stated the relocation was made for <br />economic.... reasons and because it provided better <br />gravity flow. <br />Mayor Thomas stated the move was made without <br />Commission approval and also the City was not <br />aware and quite surprised to learn that the <br />project was low-rent subsidized housing. Also <br />it was the Commission's understanding that <br />Mr. Rush was to pay an additional X10,000 <br />toward the installation of the 8" water line <br />to the project. <br />• Johnny Busch, Baytown Engineering, stated he <br />agreed with the move as he was opposed to the <br />
